Daniel Buren Cinquant’anni dopo. La nona mostra. Lavori in situ e situati

L’anno dell’arte inizia a settembre e finisce dopo Basel, a luglio.
Quest’anno fa un caldo così pesante che ognuno di noi cerca idee fresche per non ustionarsi.
Non voglio interrompere questa esigenza e disturbare con finte proposte culturali.
Tutti sappiamo benissimo che i galleristi tentano sempre di vendere… Anche noi, ça va sans dire.
Ma questa volta è diverso. Fa un tale caldo che ci passa ogni voglia di aggressione mercantile.
Ci vediamo a settembre, noi apriamo il 23 con Daniel Buren che sorprenderà voi con un nuovissimo lavoro.
E sorprenderà anche noi. Infatti non ci ha ancora comunicato cosa ha deciso di fare.
Meglio così, grazie Daniel. Siamo esentati dallo scrivere. Non sappiamo che dichiarare.
Possiamo dirvi che 50 anni fa Buren stava progettando la sua prima mostra da noi.
È arrivato con un rotolo di carte colorate e…
Settembre 2023
Oggi 21 settembre la situazione in galleria è cambiata completamente.
Daniel è arrivato giovedì scorso, non ha portato un rotolo di carte sottobraccio, ma ha spedito ben venti rotoli di stoffe a bande verticali di 8.7 cm, le ha tagliate, cucite, composte nei vari colori.
Ora sono ai muri della galleria che ha cambiato completamente volto.
La mostra consiste in un numero incredibile di opere, quasi trenta.
Vi aspettiamo per vederle…

September 2023
Today, 21st September, the situation in the gallery has completely changed. Daniel arrived last Thursday. He was not carrying a roll of papers under his arm, but he sent as many as twenty rolls of fabric with 8.7cm vertical stripes, then he cut them, sewed them and arranged the different colours together. They are now hanging from the gallery walls and the gallery has a radically different look. An incredible number of works, almost thirty, are displayed at this exhibition.
