The Viviane Esders Endowment Fund is pleased to announce the opening of the call for applications for the second edition of the Prix Viviane Esders.

The Prix Viviane Esders honors each year the work of a professional European photographer over 60 years old, independent and engaged in a creative process.

The prize rewards the winner with an exceptional financial award of €60,000 given by Viviane Esders.

The jury will meet at the end of May 2023 to select the five nominated photographers who will be announced in September 2023. The winning photographer will be announced in October and receive his/her prize in November during Paris Photo.

The five nominated photographers who have caught the attention of the jury will have the opportunity, for several months, to be highlighted and to see their work in the spotlight.
